Randy Humphrey | Bella Monte Recovery
Randy Humphrey Co-Founder/Director of Business Development Read Bio

Driven by a passion to help others, Randy Humphrey is a founding member of Bella Monte Recovery Center and currently serves as Director of Business Development. Utilizing the skills he gained during his 20-years as a stockbroker and 10-years in financial services, he has helped shaped every facet of the Bella Monte program from the ground up. Working hands-on he built a strong admissions, clinical and operations team, truly committed and passionate about helping clients get clean and sober. As Director of Business Development, he serves as the primary point of contact for professionals and treatment centers who work with Bella Monte.  Randy has been sober for more than 28-years and actively participates in recovery related events across the country.

Tyler Terrusa, Bella Monte Recovery Center
Tyler Terrusa Director of Operations Read Bio

As Director of Operations, Tyler works closely with the Board of Directors to optimize the holistic approach and environment at the Bella Monte Recovery Center. He oversees all operational functions of the organization from facilities and infrastructure to training and human resources. Prior to Bella Monte, Tyler was the General Manager of an award-winning resort and spa in the Coachella Valley, with years of experience in customer care oriented management. Tyler completed his undergraduate work in Philosophy from SDSU, and is pursuing a joint MBA / Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego.

Ramesh-Gune
Ramesh Gune’, Psy.D., LMFT Clinical Director Read Bio

Ramesh Gune’ holds a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and is a licensed marriage and family therapist. With more than 25 years in personal recovery, and past professional affiliations with renowned treatment centers such as Betty Ford Center, Crossroads, Axis and his own private practice, Dr. Gune’ has helped hundreds of clients to lead a happy and meaningful life. His clinical expertise include extensive training in EMDR, Harvard – university sponsored certification in mind/body healing techniques, Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodrama, Mindfulness, and the profound healing secrets of the Yogic psychology/philosophy. Dr. Gune’ is the owner of Nurturing Nest, a health resort in the Palm Springs valley, where he has led hundreds of mind/body healing workshops attended by people from all over the world.

Doreen Bennett Nutrition Director
Doreen Bennett Co-Founder/Nutrition Specialist Read Bio

Doreen Bennett, B.S. Psychology (UCLA) / Certified Whole-Food Plant-Based Nutritionist (Cornell University) is a founding member of  Bella Monte Recovery Center and serves as Nutrition Specialist. Doreen recognizes the important role proper nutrition plays in each of our client’s recovery. It is well documented that drugs and alcohol disrupt the normal functioning of the body and how nutrition can help diminish some of these biochemical and digestive problems. At Bella Monte, we offer our clients a healthy gourmet-style catered menu Monday through Friday consisting of the freshest in-season ingredients and on weekends we work collaboratively with our clients on meal planning since nutrition is an important commitment to a lifetime of good health.

Lisa-Ferguson
Lisa Ferguson Director of Admissions Read Bio

After fifteen years as a mortgage broker, Lisa began working in the drug and alcohol treatment field two years ago. Lisa started her journey at Bella Monte Recovery as a chemical dependency technician, where she utilized her knowledge and experience to aid our clients on their road to recovery. Lisa is now the Director of Admissions at Bella Monte where she is often the first point of contact for clients and family members who are seeking treatment. Her passion for helping others combined with over thirty years of sober experience make her an indispensable asset to Bella Monte Recovery.

Kevin Jameson, ADAC, RADT-II
Kevin Jameson, ADAC, RADT-II Manager of Operations Read Bio

As the Manager of Operations, Kevin brings with him over twenty years of management experience. After an Honorable Discharge from the United States Navy, Kevin spent a good portion of his career as a manager and trainer for a world-renowned fitness organization. It was during this time that Kevin developed a deep enthusiasm for helping individuals achieve their goals. Kevin attended California Nurses Educational Institute where he studied Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counseling and became a Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor through the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals. To improve his effectiveness with helping others, Kevin also attended the Orange County Life Coach Institute where he became a Certified Professional Life Coach. Kevin has a sincere passion for assisting individuals navigate through their own journey in recovery.

Erin Snow, LMFT-I
Erin Snow, MFT-I Lead Counselor Read Bio

As Lead Counselor, Erin blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans for the clients. Erin has worked in various recovery settings including residential and outpatient programs, and has spent years in private practice, consulting, and providing individual and group therapy for treatment centers around Southern California. Erin has a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Cal State University Long Beach and is a licensed intern with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Devin Thornton
Devin Thornton, CADC I Counselor Read Bio

After a long professional career as a computer repair technician, Devin decided to enter the recovery field to utilize his experience and knowledge to help those currently struggling with addiction. Devin worked at Bella Monte Recovery Center as a Chemical Dependency Technician while completing AOD courses to become a certified counselor through the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals. As a counselor at Bella Monte, Devin works one-on-one with clients to provide them with the skills they need on their path to recovery and to optimize the quality of care they receive by working collaboratively with the clinical team. Devin provides clients with evidence-based treatment, including Motivational Interviewing and problem-solving therapy.

Leslie Hamady, ADAC
Leslie Hamady, ADAC Counselor Read Bio

Born and raised in Washington D.C., Leslie moved to Southern California in 2009 to become an active part of the robust recovery community in the Coachella Valley. As a Counselor, Leslie works closely with female clients struggling with addiction, codependency, and emotional trauma. She attended the Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counseling program at the California Nurses Educational Institute, and is registered with the California Consortium on Addiction Professionals and Programs.

Zach Zimmer, CATC-I
Zach Zimmer, CATC-I Counselor Read Bio

As a primary counselor at Bella Monte since 2014, Zach has experience in various modalities of care with extensive knowledge and training aimed at helping clients achieve their goals of sobriety and healthy living. His passionate authenticity and personal hands-on approach allows Zach to connect with and motivate the younger populations in a collaborative effort to put the needs of his clients in their full view and control. Zach is a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor (CATC-1), and is pursuing a Masters in Clinical Psychology from CSUSB.

Sean Tronvig, CADC-I
Sean Tronvig, CATC-I Case Manager Read Bio

As Case Manager, Sean works side-by-side with clients to develop robust and individualized aftercare plans, which are essential to effectively bridge their fledgling sobriety with successful and continued recovery in the real world. Sean has many years of experience in various levels of care within the treatment field, and derives his elation from witnessing clients get healthier and happier in their journey toward recovery. Sean has a Bachelor’s Degree from UC San Diego, and is a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor (CATC-I).
